About My Services

The services I offer use meditation as a foundational skill. Meditation entered the western mainstream in part through the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and his Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program. MBSR was launched at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979. Tens of thousands of people worldwide document the physical and mental health benefits of mindfulness. Countless programs adapt the mindfulness model at hospitals, veteran centers, yoga studios, prisons, schools, retreats and many other venues.
